The Press of Atlantic City reports that Atlantic City's 40/40 Club, which is co-owned by Jay-Z, has closed.
The $4 million club was reportedly shut down in October when its lease expired. The club's spokesman Ron Berkowitz said the club has not operated since Superstorm Sandy flooded it and tore a hole in the roof right around the time its lease expired.
The club opened in October 2005 and hosted stars including Beyonce, rapper Lil' Wayne, and rapper and current American Idol judge Nicki Minaj, as well as numerous sports celebrities.
A spokesman for Tanger Outlets says the space is looking for a new tenant.
