Former Nine Inch Nails Drummer Angry Over NIN/Carly Rae Jepsen Mash-Up

Chris Vrenna isn't pleased about "Call Me a Hole"...
A former drummer for Nine Inch Nails says that the new viral mash-up of the band's "Head Like a Hole" and Carly Rae Jepsen's "Call Me Maybe" is offensive. The mash-up, which you can hear below, has racked up over a million views and has gotten positive reviews from the likes of the Los Angeles Times. However, Vrenna gave TMZ a different opinion.
"Honestly I find the whole thing silly and partly offensive...I find it kind of insulting. It has trivialized something we've done. I am proud of what we've done and to take art -- just to be a joke -- I don't have any respect for it."
Vrenna, who played with NIN from 1989 through 1997, said that he's not saying anything against Jepsen or her music, just the mash-up. He added, "In 48 hours no one will even know it existed."
