Liam Gallagher Reveals New Beady Eye Song At London Club
Posted by Joseph Lee on 03.11.2013

NME reports that Liam Gallagher played a new Beady Eye song at the London club This Feeling at the Queen of Hoxton bar. He was there to see his bandmate, guitarist Andy Bell, DJing. He gave Bell the okay to play the untitled song, which is believed to be the band's next single.

This Feeling organizer Mikey Johns said: "Liam made everyone's night by shaking every hand in the venue and was on blistering form. When he gave Andy and [Bell's DJ partner] Arveene the nod to play the new tune the place erupted!"

Tom Rowlett of the band Dexters added: "I was pretty fucked so memory a bit hazy, but it had a big brass section and Liam's vocals sounded massive, proper in-your-face psychedelic rock'n'roll. Sounding fuckin' massive, man, the whole place went off when it came on! Liam was amazing. They always say don't meet your heroes but he was brilliant – he pulled us into his VIP area, we had a few beers with him, he was buzzing off the new LP and so are we now!"

Former Kasabian guitarist Jay Mehler was also in attendance. He recently left Kasabian to replace Jeff Wootton in the band. Bell and Arveene will be DJing at This Feeling Manchester at FAC251 on March 23, with The Sundowners playing live.
