Band to release "Alien Days" as a limited edition casette...
Get ready to go retro for MGMT's new single. Pitchfork reports that the band will release their next single "Alien Days" as a limited edition cassette single for Record Store Day. The song will be released on April 20th and, for the 99% of the world who have done away with their tape decks, will come with a download code.
Andrew VanWyngarden recently dicussed the song, saying that it is about "that feeling when a parasitic alien is in your head, controlling things". It will be on the band's third studio album while releases in June.
