Check out "Whoa"...
NME reports that Earl Sweatshirt has released the music video for his song "Whoa".
This is the latest song from Sweatshirt's upcoming album Doris and follows the song "Chum", which was released late last year. The video features Earl's Odd Future companion Tyler the Creator, who also directed the video under his Wolf Haley name. It also features Trash Talk frontman Lee Spielman.
He played several of his songs recently at LA club Low End Theory as a special guest of producer Flying Lotus. These included "Burgundy", "Hive," and "Guild", on the night. "Burgandy" was produced by Pharrell Williams.
He has signed a deal with Columbia Records/Sony to have his own record label imprint called Tan Cressida. Doris will be released on this label, as the follow-up to his 2010 debut Earl.
Sweatshirt said of the album: "I anticipate a loss of fans. I also anticipate gaining some. So. You know. Yeah… I hope i lose you as a fan if you only fuck with me cause i rapped about raping girls when i was 15… I fucking love how it sounds. And uhh. Thats what matters… Im gonna go out on a limb and say that you can hear the progression."
