He was drunk again...
The Sun reports that Liam Gallagher was refused entry into a bar twice in one week for being drunk. He arrived for lunch slurring his words on the UK's Mother's Day (March 10) at The Queens bar near his home.
Gallagher tried more than once to get in and had already been refused a drink last week. The bar wrote on their Twitter: "We've had to kick Liam Gallagher out twice today. He asked whether it was because he was a rock star. We said no, just a drunken twit." The comment was later deleted.
A manager at the Crouch End, North London bar said: "We just said we couldn't serve him because he was too drunk. He was treated like any normal customer. It doesn't matter who you are — if we think you are too drunk we will not serve you. He was fine about it and left without a fuss. He'd been refused a drink earlier in the week, I think it was Wednesday evening. He was slurring his words."
He arrived with two friends at 1 PM on Sunday when it was full with families. He was believed to be out with ex-Oasis guitarist Paul "Bonehead" Arthurs. He had been at a club in East London the night before with his Beady Eye bandmates. The manager said: "He might have been on a bender — but not here."
Lydia Marriott, whose boyfriend works there, tweeted: "It makes me happy that my boyfriend refused to serve Liam — forcing even rock stars to drink responsibly."
