Ne-Yo Sued For Defamation

For his comments on a TV show...
TMZ reports that a woman who once claimed Ne-Yo was her child's father is now suing him for defamation after he talked bad about her on a TV show.
The woman, Jesseca White, said that Ne-Yo went on VH1 and said she was "an unchaste woman who deliberately tricked him into believing he was the father of her child ... so that she could fraudulently bilk him of 'ungodly amounts of money.'"
The two used to be in a relationship. White had a child in 2005 and listed Ne-Yo as the father on the birth certificate, but a a paternity test showed he wasn't. She said she told Ne-Yo at the time she gave birth she wasn't sure, but Ne-Yo went on VH1's Behind the Music and claimed she tried to defraud him. She said that people have called her names including "c**t," "bitch," "pathetic" and "gold-digging bitch." She also claims her career as a photographer and graphic designer have been ruined. She is suing for unspecified damages.
