TMZ spoke with Jim Belushi in Los Angeles yesterday and learned that Belushi got Tupac Shakur listening to Frank Sinatra after the two worked together on Gang Related. That was Tupac's final film role before his death in 1996.
He was asked if Tupac inspired him while they worked together and he replied: "I influenced him. I turned him on to Frank Sinatra."
He said the two were listening to "Fly Me to the Moon" and trying to figure out how to remix it into a rap. That's when Tupac said: "This [song] is so melodic. This song is so beautiful, it should never be touched."
