Billboard that legendary musician Pat Boone has called President Barack Obama a "marxist".
Boone appeared on Fox Business News on Wednesday with Neil Cavuto to talk about the deficit problems and sequestration. He then accused Obama of being a socialist who wants to destroy economic progress.
He said: "He is following his playbook, which is Saul Alinsky's Rules for Radicals. This is the guy that trained him to be a community organizer, a Marxist, a socialist, a progressive, who wrote the rules for doing what Mr. Obama is doing. He has a plan, he thinks it's good for America -- a virtually socialist nation in which nobody gets rich, government is in charge of everything."
Cavuto said he disagreed and then made a joke that Obama was individually targeting Boone. Boone said he was put on Obama's "enemies list" in 2009, which was published by the tabloid The Globe.
He has been a critic of Obama's for some time and said in the past he was a Kenyan Muslim.
Boone is known for his eighteen top ten singles from 1955-62, including six #1s. He is the #2 singles act of the 1950s according to Billboard, behind Elvis Presley.
