Michael Jackson's Son to Testify in Wrongful Death Lawsuit
Posted by Jeremy Thomas on 03.15.2013

Michael Jackson's son Prince will testify at his dad's upcoming wrongful death lawsuit trial. Radar Online reports that the sixteen year-old will take the stand for the suit, which was brought by Katherine Jackson against AEG Live accusing them of being responsible for hiring Conrad Murray. Murray, you will recall, administered the dose of Propofol to Jackson that killed him.

A source said to the site, "Prince very much wants to take the stand and plans to tell jurors about specific conversations he had with his father about AEG. Prince will also testify about the fateful day his father died, as he was an eyewitness to the efforts that were made to save his life. There are no plans for either Paris or Blanket to testify though."

In addition, TMZ reports that rthe Jacksons are seeking $40 billion in damages from TMZ. The paperwork lists Prince, Paris, Blanket and Katherine as plaintiffs and notes that they was $10 billion in damages for lost earnings, additional $50 million in other damages and the rest in other categories.

AEG Live says that the number is ridiculous as Michael's career was in a tailspin and that the damage claim is based on pure speculation.
