They say the rappers are responsible...
TMZ reports that owners of the nightclub W.i.P. want to get out of paying for the injuries of NBA star Tony Parker as a result of the infamous brawl between rappers Chris Brown and Drake in June of last year.
The owners of the nightclub W.i.P. want Brown and Drake to cut Parker a check if Parker wins his lawsuit against the club. Parker was one of several people who claimed they were injured in the brawl that took place in June 2012. As a result, he filed a $20 million lawsuit against the club shortly afterwards.
The owners of the W.i.P. club reportedly filed legal documents in New York last week saying Parker's anger should be with Brown and Drake since the two rappers were the ones who "contributed to, instigated, participated and/or engaged" in the fight.
The club wants any and all damages awarded to Parker to instead come from Brown and Drake. The case is currently still pending.
