Michael Gracey To Direct Elton John Biopic

Gracey to helm Rocketman...
Elton John's biopic finally has a director. Deadline reports that commercials director Michael Gracey has signed on to tackle Rocketman, which was written by Lee Hall (Billy Elliot, War Horse).
The film will chronicle John's life from the age of eleven through adulthood, combining the story with fantastical elements from his songs. Gracey is also attached to two other biopics: The Muppet Man about Jim Henson and The Greatest Showman on Earth, which stars Hugh Jackman as P.T. Barnum.
