Too Short Says The Drugs Police Found Weren't His

He's not into meth, just weed...
TMZ reports that Too Short says he's been falsely accused of hiding drugs in the back seat of a police car.
Short was arrested for a DUI early Wednesday. When they arrived at the station they found hard drugs in the back seat and blamed Too Short. They say the drug was meth, according to preliminary tests. Other sources say it may turn out to be ecstasy, possibly laced with meth.
Short's representative David Weintraub said: "Short was diligently searched and cuffed prior to being placed in the disgustingly filthy patrol car. It was 3 AM, the cop car smelled like vomit and was littered with remnants from prior arrests of the evening."
LAPD police say that the protocol is to search the car thoroughly after every arrest.
As for why Too Short tried to run when stopped for DUI, the representative said: "In the past, Short, like many others, has been mistreated by law enforcement and these unfortunate prior incidents led to the complications after the stop. Any assertion that Short was carrying powder is ridiculous! Every rap fan knows Short's into weed."
