Kid Cudi No Longer With G.O.O.D. Music
Posted by Joseph Lee on 04.02.2013

Billboard reports that during an interview with Power 106 in Los Angeles, Kid Cudi revealed he is no longer on Kanye West's imprint G.O.O.D. Music.

He said: "I'm announcing that I'm no longer on G.O.O.D. Music. And this is something that no one knows really. I'm no longer on G.O.O.D. Music. Me and Kanye were talking on the phone the other day. These have been things I wanted to talk to him about, about me wanting to start my own direction. He got it because he's trying to start his new path, and trying new things as an artist. He was just like ‘Man, I feel you. It's cool. Whatever.'"

Cudi will release his new album Indicud on April 23. He said that he wants to focus on his own imprint, Wicked Awesome Records.

He added: "I don't want to have a full label of artists. I just want to work on Chip and keep my sound going.

There are no problems with Cudi and the rest of G.O.O.D. Music. He said that he "can never get tired of Kanye" and will still be working with G.O.O.D. artists, like Big Sean and Pusha T. He said: "There's no beefs, no problems with anybody on the label. It's all love."
