TMZ reports that two men, Sylvester Vincent Carroll (aka Vincent Carroll) and Meceo McEaddy (aka Ray Annis) have been charged with grand larceny and scheming to defraud in the first degree, after setting up fake Lady Gaga and Rihanna concerts, then taking over $2 million from promoters. Both charges are felonies. Carroll also faces a charge of criminal tax fraud.
The two pretended to represent Rihanna, Gaga and Ke$ha to get the money. The plans began in 2010 and even went to countries like Brazil, Taiwan and Mexico. They blew the money on cars, hotels, jewelry, and restaurants. They are still in custody.
