Several Beatles songs...
NME reports that Paul McCartney was joined by the surviving members of Nirvana for a show in Seattle last night. You can see the group performing the Beatles' song "Helter Skelter" below.
This was the first ever concert at Safeco Field in Seattle and brought Dave Grohl, Krist Novoselic and Pat Smear on stage during his encore to play "Cut Me Some Slack", the song they recorded together last year for Sound City. They stayed on to play six Beatles songs: 'Get Back', 'Long Tall Sally' [a song the The Beatles covered], 'Helter Skelter', 'Golden Slumbers', 'Carry That Weight' and 'The End'.
The group (McCartney, Grohl and Novoselic) first played together at a Hurricane Sandy benefit show in New York last December. They then played "Cut Me Some Slack" a few days later on Saturday Night Live, joined by Smear on guitar. This is the first time they've played multiple songs together as well as Beatles songs.
