He wants the decision overturned...
TMZ caught up with rapper 50 Cent who claims he recently lost a lawsuit against Sleek Audio due to racism.
50 Cent was recently embroiled in a lawsuit with Sleek Audio. 50 Cent claimed that Sleek Audio owed him over $261,000. The case went to arbitration, a binding process in which an arbitrator picks the winner. Ultimately, the arbitrator sided with Sleek.
50 Cent is now reportedly planning to take the issue to federal court now after claiming the arbitration judge discriminated against him because he's black, associates with controversial African-American figures, and because he's a prolific rap artist. He also claimed the judge didn't allow him to cross-examine witnesses and refused to look at evidence pertaining to the case. Now, he wants the award axed and wants a new hearing where he says he will prove that the judge was out to get him from the beginning.
Sleek Audio fired back saying that 50 Cent's allegations of racism are a desperate attempt to avoid the arbitration decision and get it brought before an actual court.
