NME reports that that Eminem has stopped the BBC from filming footage of his headline performance at the Reading Festival tonight. This will be his first appearance at both Reading and Leeds since 2001. He requested that no filming take place.
The Twitter account of the BBC Reading Festival wrote:
Sadly we will not be bringing you any TV or live stream coverage of tonight's headline set. @Eminem has asked us not to film his performance
Neither Eminem nor his representatives have confirmed the post. The BBC will stream the festivals like this weekend and show highlights on BBC Three. The Rolling Stones did something similar earlier this year at Glastonbury. It was originally though the BBC wouldn't be able to play more than four songs, but they were eventually allowed to show only an hour.
