Big Sean Set to Place No. 2 on Next Week's Billboard 200 Chart
Posted by Jeffrey Harris on 08.31.2013

Billboard reports that rapper Big Sean will likely place No. 2 on next week's Billboard 200 chart with his new set, Hall of Fame. Rock act Avenged Sevenfold is set to bow as No. 1.

Big Sean's Hall of Fame album is estimated to sell around 70,000 copies for the week ending September 1. This should put the album in for a top three debut next week. Avenged Sevenfold will hit No. 1 with their new album, Hail to the King, with 160,000 to 175,000 copies sold. The new top 10 for the Billboard 200 will be revealed on the morning of Wednesday, September 4.

Also set for a high debut in the top 10 is Academy Award winner Juicy J, of Three 6 Mafia fame, with his new album, Stay Trippy. The set is expected to sell around 60,000. This will mark the best sales week ever for any of Juicy J's solo sets. Previously, he's never gone higher than No. 93 on the chart, which he reached in 2002 with Chronicles of the Juice Man: Underground Album.

Likely for fourth in the top 10 is Alabama & Friends, a 12-song set that features contemporary stars covering some of Alabama's biggest hits. It's projected to sell around 25,000.

Rounding out the top 10: Luke Bryan Crash My Party is No. 3; Robin Thicke's Blurred Lines is No. 5; Justin Timberlake's The 20/20 Experience is No. 6; John Mayer's Paradise Valley is No. 7; the Alabama tribute collection is No. 8; Bruno Mars' Unorthodox Jukebox is No. 9; and TGT's Three Kings is at No. 10.
