Rolling Stone reports that Apple will launch iTunes Radio on September 18 with 200 new features as part of the new iOS 7 software. It's expected to be similar to Pandora but streamed songs will include a "buy" button via iTunes.
Jim Urie, president of distribution for Universal Music, said: "Everybody agrees it's going to be good for the business."
Apple's marketing chief Philip Schiller announced two new phones, the iPhones 5S and the iPhone 5C. The 5S has a chip that will make it forty times faster than the original iPhone, a fingerprint reader called Touch ID, a motion monitor that allows you to count your steps, improved health and fitness apps and an improved camera with better photos in minimal light and a "burst" of ten frames per second. The phone will be in three different colors (gray, silver and gold). The 5C will cost $99 for 16 GB and $199 for 32. The 5S will range from $199 to $399. The 5C, minus contracts from mobile companies, the 5C is higher and as much as $649. The 5C will be available for pre-order on September 13 and both will be on sale on September 20.
Schiller added: "It's the most forward-thinking phone ever made."
