It's going to be a busy week for new albums on the charts...
Kings of Leon, Elton John and Cher are expected to join Drake as top-five finishers on the Billboard 200 album chart next week. Billboard reports that while Drake's Nothing But the Same is on a clear course for #1, he will be joined by several other new releases.
The site notes that Drake's LP is expected to see between 660,000 and 670,000 copies, the highest week since Justin Timberlake's The 20/20 Experience nearly hit a million in its first week. In addition Kings of Leon, Cher and Elton John are likely for the #2, #3 and #4 slots. Kings of Leon's Mechanical Bull should sell around 110,000 to 120,000 copies, Cher's Closer to the Truth is likely to move around 65,000 copies and Elton John's The Diving Board will bring in about 45,000 copies sold.
In addition, Dream Theater's self-titled LP should debut around #7 with 30,000.
