The Flaming Lips' Wayne Coyne Isn't Bothered By The Deletion Of His Instagram Account

He just made a new one...
In an interview with NME, The Flaming Lips' Wayne Coyne said he isn't bothered by having his account removed from Instagram. He said that friends and fans told him to protest the deletion of his account, but he "didn't care that much." The account was removed after he posted too many explicit photos. He said the photos were from his Womb Gallery in Oklahoma City last month and featured not a real naked person, but a naked statue.
He said: "I know that they would take things down if you posted too much naked things... I know that Instagram's like that, but sometimes I would forget, because I'm taking pictures of paintings and cartoons and stuff. We had an opening at our gallery and I was doing a lot of pictures of stuff at the gallery and there was a statue we have and she's naked, but if I take a picture, you can't tell if she's a statue - and I forget that. I knew that they take stuff down, but I think they have a policy of like 'if you get three in one day, man, you're out'. And I woke up Sunday, and everyone was like 'dude, what happened!?'. Everybody else wanted me to protest. And I should've, [but] I don't care that much."
When he set up the new account (which you can find here), he wrote: "Got kicked off my old Instgrammmm account !!! Sorry !! This is the new one!!"
