She also says Simon Cowell is destroying music...
While a guest on Ryan Tubridy's >The Late Late Show yesterday (via NME, Sinead O'Connor revealed that her feud with Miley Cyrus is over.
The two have traded insults over the past week after Cyrus responded to O'Connor's open letter, which warned her not to let the music industry "prostitute" her. Cyrus was also criticized by a mental health expert for seemingly mocking O'Connor's psychological illnesses over the years.
O'Connor said: "As far as I'm concerned it's over, it's not something I really want to talk about. It's about music being murdered, it's not actually about Miley. I feel sorry for the murder of music and rock 'n' roll, which has happened because of the industry. Because of Simon Cowell, Louis Walsh. They've murdered music. I stand to say it on behalf of every musician in the world and they'll agree with me. The industry has taken over so much, the money-making side of it, that the sexualising of extremely young people making records, and all the worship with money and bling and diamonds, all the Simon Cowell, Louis Walsh - it all amounts to the murder of music and that's what concerns me."
At the same time O'Connor appeared on the program, Cyrus posted a tweet that seemed to be aimed at her, by referencing the lyrics to the Prince song she covered "Nothing Compares 2 U".
"I went to the doctor guess what he told me, guess what he told me.
He said girl you better try to have fun. No matter what you do."
