She thinks she can get a different result...
Despite losing her wrongful death lawsuit against AEG Live, Michael Jackson's mother is not giving up. Katherine Jackson's lawyer told the New York Daily News that Jackson is likely to appear the verdict that came down in AEG's favor, which ruled that the concert giants were not negligent in hiring Conrad Murray to supervise Jackson.
"She isn't throwing in the towel," said Jackson's lawyer. "She feels that the jurors ended the trial really liking Michael. We can't give up until we gather all the information. Today is another chapter."
Jackson and her legal team have thirty days file a potential appeal. The lawsuit was filed claiming that AEG was negligent in hiring Murray, who was convicted of involuntary manslaughter for giving Jackson an lethal dose of Propofol; however, the jury decided that Murray was not fit or incompetent for the job, though they noted "That doesn't mean we felt he was ethical."
