Posted by Joseph Lee on 10.09.2013

Billboard reports that Lorde is once again #1 on the Digital Songs Chart with "Royals" selling 309,000 copies.

1. Lorde - "Royals" (309,000)
2. Katy Perry - "Roar" (218,000)
3. Miley Cyrus - "Wrecking Ball" (214,000)
4. Avicii - "Wake Me Up!" (167,000)
5. Drake (ft. Majid Jordan) - "Hold On, We're Going Home" (131,000)
6. Jay Z (ft. Justin Timberlake) - "Holy Grail" (118,000)
7. Eminem - "Berzerk" (115,000)
8. Katy Perry - "Walking on Air" (113,000)
9. Lady Gaga - "Applause" (109,000)
10. Katy Perry (ft. Juicy J) - "Dark Horse" (99,000)

Perry is the first artist to get three songs in the top ten since Taylor Swift almost a year ago on November 3. She had "State of Grace" at #2, "I Knew You Were Trouble" at #4 and "We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together" at #8. She did this, just like Perry, with pre-release songs from her album Red. (Perry's songs come from Prism). At the time, Swift had two other songs out, "Red" and "Begin Again".

Digital track sales this week totaled 19.81 million downloads, down 2% compared to last week (20.29 million) and down 15% compared to last year (23.31 million). Year to date track sales are at 994.41 million, down 4% compared to the same total at this point last year (1.03 billion).
