Dave Keuning is "sick" of the tour...
Speaking to NME, The Killers guitarist Dave Keuning said that he is "sick" of touring with the band.
Keuning spoke about the matter backstage at a recent gig in Shanghai, China. According to Keuning, "I am sick of this. I'm done. The end is in sight. Some people might go, 'Why are you complaining?' But you haven't done what I have done, so you can't relate. We just toured a shitload."
The band's drummer, Ronnie Vanucci, also commented on the absence of bassist Mark Stoermer from their events in Asia. Vanucci said, "I don't want to blow the top on it. Being part of this machine is physical and mentally exhausting." When he was asked if the band would continue on if Stoermer were to quit, he said, "I'd hope we'd keep trucking on. But at the same time, it isn't the same band."
Frontman Brandon Flowers is also reportedly planning to spend 2014 writing and recording a new solo album. He is hoping to release the album in 2015 when he finishes touring with the band.
