Madonna Banned From Movie Theater For Texting During NY Film Festival

Madonna has been banned form the Alamo Drafthouse movie theater chain for texting during a New York Film Festival screening of 12 Years a Slave. THR reports that the pop icon attended last Tuesday's screening of the lauded film and that film critic Charles Taylor accused her of texting during the screening, then hissing at an audience member who tried to get her to stop, "It's for business... ENSLAVER!"
In response, Alamo Drafthouse founder and CEO Tim League, who enforces a strict no-talking and no-texting policy and will eject patrons who violate it, tweeted the following:
