Drake Fires Future From His Upcoming Tour

Find out why...
The New York Post reports that Drake has fired Future from his upcoming "Would You Like A Tour" concert series after Future gave a somewhat negative review of Drake's new album in a Billboard interview. He was booked to tour with Future and Miguel on a 39-city schedule. It begins Friday in Pittsburgh.
On October 4, Future gave Billboard a free listen of his album Honest. Associate editor Erika Ramirez posted quotes from Future in the article and her Twitter feed.
Ramirez wrote: "Not only is future's #honest album interesting, so are his thoughts on Drake's #NWTS album."
She then quoted Future as saying: "'Drake made an album that is full of hits but it doesn't grab you. They're not possessive; they don't make you feel the way I do' — Future.
Future's manager argued with Billboard that the quotes were off the record and out of context. The online story was edited but Ramirez didn't remove the tweets. Drake was so angry that he demanded Future be removed from the tour.
A source said: "He told his agent either Future gets fired, or he'll fire him."
As a result, Future has been fired but then negotiations began to bring him back. Future left for good after Drake's team wanted him to take less money. Future was set to get $40,000 per show and is planning to sue Drake for $1.5 million of lost wages.
This is the latest problem with the tour after a dozen dates were pushed back and rescheduled.
A representative for Billboard added: "We regret that miscommunication surrounding Future's recent visit, one that seemed clear to us was on the record, may have caused any trouble for the artist."
