It will feature holograms of musical stars…
A new museum, dubbed The Music Hall of Fame, is going to open in Camden, London next year. It's set to feature interactive holograms of a number of living and dead musical artists.
Among the holograms featured will be Queen's Freddie Mercury, John Lennon, Morrissey, and Jimi Hendrix. They will all be rendered in holographic form and visitors will be able to interact with the "performing" stars. They will also be able to purchase footage of their meeting on the DVD.
The museum's project manager, Lee Bennett, said the experience will be similar to the Tupac hologram that took the stage during the Snoop Lion and Dr. Dre headline set at last year's Coachella Festival. Bennett stated: "You could be transported back to a specific moment of music or play with artists who are no longer alive, even playing back-to-back with a hologram. I was at Coachella watching Tupac and it blew people's minds."
