The album is approaching 300,000 in the first week...
Katy Perry's Prism is looking to outpace expectations. Billboard reports that the LP is on track to sell about 290,000 copies by the end of the tracking week on Sunday. That's up from the 270,000 estimate from two days go. The LP will be her second #1 album and the largest sales week by a female solo act this year, as well as Perry's best sales week ever.
Also debuting this week will be Fifth Harmony's Better Together, which should sell 30,000 to 32,000. AFI's Burials should debut with 25,000 to 30,000.
