He wrote the book in prison...
TMZ reports that Dr. Conrad Murray has been released from jail after serving two years for involuntary manslaughter due to the death of Michael Jackson. The Los Angeles Sheriff's Department says that he was released at 12:01 AM today. He went out the back to avoid the paparazzi.
A group of people were not happy that they didn't get to heckle Murray, so they settled for his lawyer Valerie Wass. The Sheriff's Department kept his release a secret for his safety and security. Murray had been imprisoned since November 2011. He had been sentenced to four years, but two is normal for a four-year sentence due to overcrowding.
Murray plans to try to get his medical license back in Nevada and block the removal of his license in California, but that may be difficult. He also plans to hire a publicist to change his image.
TMZ also reports that while Murray was in jail, he wrote a large portion of a book about his life and time with Jackson. A large portion of that story blames others for Jackson's death and justifies how he acted in treating the King of Pop. He does not have a publisher for the book.
Murray would also be open to a reality show following his life after jail. No producers have expressed interest at this time.
