Doing some good...
TMZ reports that Justin Bieber went to the Guatemala to help build a schoolhouse over the weekend. He worked with Pencils of Promise, which is an organization that helps build schools for communities in need.
Bieber was flown via helicopter into a remote area yesterday where a construction crew was putting up the walls for the school. Bieber posted a video on his blog in which he said the town was overrun with poverty.
He said: "I'm not talking about poor, I'm talking about 10 people living in a little shack."
Bieber took off his shirt, then grabbed a wheelbarrow and began helping to build the wall. He also gave his shoes to one of the local children. Bieber said it was "one of the most amazing powerful experiences of my life." He added: "I feel like they helped me as much as I helped them."
