She wants to keep him away...
The New York Post reports that the mother of Liam Gallagher's 10-month old daughter is fighting for full custody. Journalist Liza Ghorbani is preparing to file for custody in Manhattan family court and requests that he can only see her under supervision.
A source said: "Ghorbani is seeking sole custody of Gemma and asking the court to impose supervised visitation upon Gallagher — if he ever decides to meet and visit his daughter. Her concern is that he still lives the life of a rock star, and she wouldn't want to leave the child in his care."Liam has never seen Gemma, nor spoken to her, nor has he expressed any interest in how she is doing."
Gemma was born after Ghorbani interviewed Gallagher for a 2010 New York Times profile. Gallagher was married at the time and they began a relationship. A DNA test later proved he was the father. She is suing Gallagher in Manhattan for child support. Unless he agrees to a settlement, there could be a public trial in late fall. The judge threw out her original petition after a hearing was missed. Her lawyer will file a motion to reinstate the case this week.
The source added: "He still has not produced any financial documents after delaying the proceeding for months: There was a two-month delay to seek testing to prove his paternity — and then a six-week delay to seek a confidentiality order. Gallagher's deposition cannot go forward until he produces his financial records, which he continues to fail to do."
