They cover "Walk on the Wild Side"...
NME reports that the Arctic Monkeys paid tribute to Lou Reed last night at the Echo Arena in Liverpool during a concert. They performed a cover of Reed's 1972 song "Walk on the Wild Side", along with The Coral's Bill Ryder Jones. Jones also stayed to perform "Fireside", "Pretty Visitors" and "Snap Out Of It".
The song is Reed's most famous and is getting a sales spike on iTunes due to his passing. Other bands have covered his music since his death. At the First Mariner Arena in Baltimore, Pearl Jam covered "I'm Waiting For The Man". Twin Shadow covered "Perfect Day" on Youtube and My Morning Jacket (with Neil Young, Elvis Costello, Jenny Lewis and others) covered "Oh! Sweet Nuthin'' at Young's Bridge School Benefit on Sunday.
Here's a set list from the Arctic Monkeys for the show:
'Do I Wanna Know?'
'Don't Sit Down ‘Cause I've Moved Your Chair'
'One For The Road'
'Fireside' (with Bill Ryder Jones)
'Old Yellow Bricks'
