Over nude-colored underwear...
Lady Gaga's performance on The X-Factor UK drew a fair amount of complains for being overly sexual. BBC's Newsbeat reports that 200 complaints were delivered to watchdog group Ofcom, with another 60 made directly to ITV. The complaints were mostly made over the fact that Gaga and her dancers wore nude-colored underwear for the performance, taking issue with the fact that she was inappropriately dressed for a show which aired before the 9 PM watershed.
Said a spokesperson for Ofcom, "We will assess all the complaints received on this issue before deciding whether to investigate".
A spokesperson for ITV added, "We do not believe Lady Gaga's performance was inappropriate for the family audience of the X Factor Results show, which has an established tradition of featuring performances from the biggest music stars. Lady Gaga is well known for her highly individual performance style."
