In Beverly Hills...
TMZ reports that Burger King has made an offer for Elvis Presley's former Beverly Hills home. Burger King Corporation sent a letter to Peter Morton, who owns the Elvis Presley Estate (which is 5,367 square feet) offering to buy the home for $3.69 million.
The letter reads: "This would be a fast closing within three days and we would be happy to provide you with proof of funds upon request."
If Morton agrees, Burger King promised to "preserve all residential historical value."
The problem is that the house isn't for sale. In addition to that, Morton bought the home for $9.8 million in December and isn't likely to willingly $6 million on it.
The offer comes as the BK released a new sandwich called "the Big King". BK has placed a time limit on their offer, as it will end tonight at midnight.
