Billboard reports that Lady Gaga will hold the final concerts at New York City's Roseland Ballroom, which is set to close in April. She will perform four concerts on March 28, 30, 31, and April 2. The 3,500-seat theater is a lot smaller than Gaga's normal venues.
Members of the Gaga fan community LittleMonsters.com will get the first chance at presale tickets with randomly selected members getting invitations and codes to purchase tickets on November 21. Citi credit card holders are next, with presale access starting November 22 at 10 AM through the Private Pass Program. Tickets will go on sale for everyone else through ticketmaster on November 25 at 10 AM. Floor tickets will sell for $50 with mezzanine seats at $200. Each guest will get a special commemorative ticket when they arrive.
The venue is owned by Live Nation and developer Larry Ginsberg. It opened at its current location on 52nd Street in 1958 as a converted skating rink. It changed from a 1920s ballroom dancing spot to a concert venue for acts like Madonna and the Rolling Stones. A previous version was opened in 1918 at 51st Street and Broadway.
Gaga has just finished hosting and providing music on Saturday Night Live and released her new album ARTPOP last week. It will likely beat Eminem's The Marshall Mathers LP 2 for the top spot on the Billboard 200.
