The Rolling Stones Reveal More International Tour Dates
Posted by Joseph Lee on 12.04.2013

Billboard reports that The Rolling Stones have increased their tour of Australia and New Zealand next year to seven dates, and have added five shows in Asia on top of that. The "14 on Fire" tour will start on February 21 at the du Arena in Abu Dhabi before going to Tokyo for three shows at the Tokyo Dome. The Asia section ends on March 9 at the Cotai Arena in Macau. They will then hit Australia on March 19 and stay there until April 2, before their New Zealand show on April 5.

Only the second stop on the tour was revealed until now. The show at the redeveloped Adelaide Oval is now sold out. Fronteir Touring and AEG Live are co-organizing the Australian portion, the band's first since the "A Bigger Bang" tour in 2006 and their seventh overall. Frontier Touring managing director Michael Gudinski said: "It's been a life-long ambition of mine to bring the legendary Stones back."

The band will perform songs like "Gimme Shelter," "Paint It Black," "Jumping Jack Flash," "Tumbling Dice," and "It's Only Rock and Roll," some lesser-known songs and some covers.

Mick Jagger said: "Can't wait to reconnect with all our friends in Australia and New Zealand. It's been a while since we've played to you all, so we are looking forward to being back on stage and playing your favorite songs."

Mick Taylor, who played with the band from 1969 to 1974, will be a special guest.
