Miley Cyrus Regains Top Spot on Billboard Hot 100
Posted by Jeremy Thomas on 12.04.2013

Miley Cyrus dethroned Lorde after nine weeks at the top of the Billboard charts to reclaim the top spot. Billboard reports that Cyrus' "Wrecking Ball" climbed back into the #1 spot that Lorde's "Royals" originally claimed from it back in October. This gives "Wrecking Ball" its third non-consecutive week at #1; the rise is thanks to a new parody video that drove viewers to look at the original song as well. Coming in at #2 was Eminem's "The Monster" featuring Rihanna, even with last week, while "Royals" dropped to #3. Meanwhile, Pitbull's "Timber" featuring Ke$ha rose four places to #4 and OneRepublic's "Counting Stars" fell a spot to #5.

In the bottom half of the top 10, Avicii was down a spot to #6 with "Wake Me Up" while Imagine Dragons' "Demons" had a similar one-ring slip to #7. One Direction was up five places to #8 with "Story of My Life," Katy Perry's "Roar" slipped two to #9 and A Great Big World and Christina Aguilera rose eight places to #10 with "Say Something."

Check out the full top ten below:
