Pentatonix Make Debut on This Week’s Billboard Social 50 Chart

Billboard reports that the a cappella quintet Pentatonix madeir their debut on the Billboard Social 50 chart this week at the No. 24 spot.
The group placed on the list with a consistently-growing online fan base engaged by their steady stream of released on their YouTube channel. The band added 308,000 new fans on Facebook and Twitter. Traffic on their YouTube channel jumped 77% over the previous week due to their new video release.
Ludacris re-entered the chart at No. 8, owed to conversation on the death of his movie co-star Paul Walker of the Fast & Furious franchise. Ludacris had a 483% increase in overall points, mainly coming from his Facebook page after Walker's passing on November 30. Ludacris added 307,000 new fans as of November 5.
Rounding out the Top 10: Miley Cyrus remained No. 1; Eminem stayed at No. 2; Rihann went up from 5-4; One Direction went down from 4-5; Katy Perry went down from 3-6; Justin Bieber went down from 6-7, Shakira went down from 7-9, and Justin Timberlake remains at No. 10.
