Beyonce Pegged For Huge Sales Week, #1 on Album Chart

With just three days of sales...
Beyonce has done more in three days than most albums have done for their entire runs this year. Billboard reports that the R&B star's self-titled album sold 430,000 copies in just over one day of release and is likely to have sold over 600,000 copies by the end of the day today, which is the end of the sales week.
Of course, that will easily put her in the #1 spot on the Billboard 200 album chart, unseating Garth Brooks' boxed set. The album will notch the fourth biggest sales week of the year behind Justin Timberlake's The 20/20 Experience (968,000), Eminem's The Marshall Mathers LP (792,000) and Drake's Nothing Was The Same (658,000), though they all had a full seven days of sales.
If the album does top 600,000, it will be Beyonce's best sales week ever; her current high is B'day's beginning week in 2006 with 541,000 sold.
