They're working on it...
Muse's Matt Bellamy recently told Triple J that the band's new album could be out by 2015. Bellamy (who was interviewed along with drummer Dom Howard) said that while they're touring Australia to support their sixth album The Second Law, they're already working on its follow-up.
He said: "I've written some good tracks, actually. We haven't had a chance to rehearse them out yet. We'll take a break next year for a little few months and then we'll get in the studio. If it all goes very well, the new album could well be early 2015 or late 2015. Christmas 2014 might be [when we release] our next single."
Meanwhile, he also revealed that his wife Kate Hudson was in the video for "Panic Station", poking fun at Kanye West and Kim Kardashian. He noted that West wasn't the first musician to have his famous girlfriend in his music video.
He added: "Kate [Hudson, Bellamy's wife] was in the Panic Station video," he revealed. "Nobody knows that. So technically we got there first. She's the one with the gold mask on grinding up against me. I've actually got a couple of kittens called Kim and Kanye - we thought they were the best names we could think of. They kind of look similar to them as well."
The band's tour ended last week but they promised to come back and "play some festivals in 2015."
