Billboard reports that R. Kelly spoke with Elliott Wilson for a Myspace-presented CRWN session, in which he spoke about his 12th studio album Black Panties and his collaboration with Lady Gaga, "Do What U Want". The two have since performed the song at the 2013 American Music Awards and on NBC's Saturday Night Live.
Kelly said: "I got to keep it real. Before I met her I thought she was a sexy girl... she's really into her style, she's locked into her character and she don't give a damn about what anybody have to say about it. Then when I met her, I felt like I met my match. She's got balls. She don't give a damn. She writes her music, she produces some of her music and she comes up with her own concepts and I do the same thing. it was a perfect match. When we got on that video set, and the studio, it was perfect. It was a natural jelling."
The video will be out soon.
