She’s been charged with the supplying of cocaine…
BBC News reports that singer and former judge on The X Factor Tulisa has denied a report on her playing a part in the supply of Class A drugs.
Tulisa Contostavlos was arrested after a tabloid newspaper reported that she claimed she was involved in a cocaine deal. She later appeared at the Westminster Magistrates' Court today (December 19) in order to deny the charges of her being involved in the supply of class A drugs.
Michael Coombs also plead not guilty to the same charge of being "concerned with the supply of 13.9 grams of cocaine" to an undercover reporter following an investigation by police in June. Contostavlos and Coombs were granted unconditional bial. The case has now been sent to Southwark Crown Court, and the two will appear before judges in court on January 9, 2014.
During her court appearance today, Contostavlos reportedly disclosed her London address, though her solicitor had requested for it to be withheld. She stated, "Just to let you know, after it being read out, in the next month or so I might have to move to a new address," after her address was revealed, and her legal counsel cited the "unwanted visitors" it might attract.
