Billboard reports that Beyonce's new self-titled album has already been downloaded a 240,000 since it's release. This amounts to about $3.8 million of lost revenue for the singer.
The album has already sold nearly a million copies since its release. It was released on December 13. The report also goes on to state that Beyonce's entire back catalog has been shared more than two million times on BitTorrent downloaded cites. On December 15, more than 11,000 downloads of her previous albums were also said to be downloaded. This accounts for more than five times the number accessed the day before Beyonce's latest release.
