Do you believe him?
In an interview with NME, former Oasis rhythm guitarist Paul "Bonehead" Arthurs said he thinks Liam Gallagher would jump at the chance to play with Oasis again. Bonehead appeared at a show with Gallagher's new band Beady Eye, a tribute show to late Charlatans drummer Jon Brookes. They performed Oasis songs "Live Forever" and "Columbia". He did mention that there was "no talk about a reunion", however.
He said: "If someone said, 'Here's a field, here's a stage, and here's 200,000 people', I'm sure Liam would jump up and do it, and I don't think it would even take anyone offering him a massive bankroll of money. He'd do it because that's what he loves, that's his passion."
There have been reports that the band would get back together for the 20th anniversary of their debut album Definitely Maybe.
Noel Gallagher said those claims were false. He added: "We are split up. You've heard that, haven't you? You must've heard... Yeah, so, ergo, band splits up, band is no more. There is no band. So, no, I won't be getting involved, anyway. If there is a reunion, I won't be in it."
