She hints at betrayal due to greed as well...
Billboard reports that Lady Gaga addressed a number of topics in a conversation with fans on her LittleMonsters website, including the rumors of her ARTPOP album losing the Interscope label $25 million and causing layoffs.
An Examiner article that no longer exists claimed that Gaga's new album sold below Interscope's expectations. As a result, a chain reaction started that ended with a multi-million dollar loss and layoffs at the company. Gaga however stated on the topic that there was "no truth to many of your comments, including the 25 million dollars deficit."
According to Gaga, there were no issues at Interscope with her album only selling 258,000 copies in its first week of release. She stated, "I have lost love [sic] ones to the greed of money. It is not interscope. They in fact love me very much and will see 'ARTPOP' to the end."
There were other comments that hinted at betrayal for those that were formerly close to Gaga, saying: "My heart breaks from the people I have trusted and loved who I've worked so closely with, who have used me, lied to me, worked me into the ground for the personal gain. When I woke up in the hospital after my surgery there were many people that were not there. My health did not matter. I did not matter unless I could perform. This is a very hard lesson."
