ORIGINAL:TMZ reports that eleven Los Angeles County Sheriff's patrol cars arrived at Justin Bieber's house earlier this morning and they are searching the home in connection with the egg-throwing case. They have a search warrant for his property. Deputies are looking for any evidence that links Bieber to the egging. It is a felony search warrant, meaning if evidence is found Bieber risks going to prison.
Police are looking for anything relevant to the case, including other eggs in the house and video. Deputies looked at TMZ's video of the incident and want to see if someone in Bieber's house videotaped it as well. There could also be some kind of identifier that links any eggs found in Bieber's home to the broken eggs outside.
If police find anything illegal while searching the home, like drugs, then Bieber could get charged for that as well. There is a battering ram at the scene.
Bieber is being held in his garage while the search continues. Police are looking for surveillance video from Bieber's house that may have recorded the incident.
