Christie is a big Springsteen fan...
MSNBC reports that Bruce Springsteen appeared on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon last night, teaming up with Fallon for a version of "Born to Run" that mocked the ongoing bridge scandal involved New Jersey Governor Chris Christie.
The two sang about Christie's "Fort Lee traffic jam," with a line about hurting "the working man." Springsteen told New Jersey to "get your a** in line" and mentioned the traffic jam was "longer than one of my own damn shows."
Springsteen has snubbed Christie in the past even though he is one of The Boss' biggest fans. He claims to know all of the lyrics to Springsteen's songs and has been to over a hundred Springsteen concerts. Springsteen is an Obama supporter and seems reluctant to meet with Christie, possibly due to political differences. The two did meet for a brief time at an NBC telethon to raise money for Hurricane Sandy relief in 2012, which saw Christie get a hug from Springsteen, which left him crying.
