Lily Allen Is Sure People Will Find Something To Get Angry About With Her New Album
Posted by Joseph Lee on 01.16.2014

In an interview with NME, Lily Allen said that she is sure people "will find things to get angry about" on her new album. She referenced the controversy surrounding her song "Hard Out Here" and its video, hinting that there would be more.

She said: "When you put something out there, people want to write about it. They want the hits, they want American Apparel to advertise on their blog. So, yeah, I'm sure people will find things to get angry about on the record."

She also spoke about what the new album will sound like. She added: "The last couple [of albums] looked to the past for their influences, whether it was ska or reggae or whatever, but this one doesn't do that at all. There's one that has a quite country-ish, Primal Scream-y vibe to it but that's about the extent of it."
